As from the 2006 season, the Trofeo CSAI F. 3000 Italia will change its name to Euro 3000. Following the organisational success of 2005 and in view of the positive results achieved wthe events for 2006 in Europe have been increased to four, thus creating a real continental championship. This has led the category to changing its name to Euroseries 3000.
In 2008 there are 8 trials in the championship, each with a double race. The vehicles used are the Lola B02/50. Technology, performance, safety, competition, press coverage and prizes are all of high standards: young drivers can take advantage of this championship by using it as a launching pad towards higher levels of free-wheel motor racing.
